Art Therapy Groups
Art Therapy in groups is a powerful way of exploring dynamics within one’s self, in relationship to others, and in relationship to the images created through art materials. No art experience needed to participate, as this is about the experience or process of art-making, not the product or end result.
Examples of themes hosted in Art Therapy groups include Creating a Relationship with the Image, Group-Synergy Field Exploration, Relations with the Great Mystery, Expansive Vision Boards, and The Healing Power of Beauty & Awe.
Typically one to four art groups are held per year either as a single event or series (such as once a week for three weeks or once a month for six months) depending on the theme and group and are held in-person at locations in Boulder, Colorado.
The cost of events varies. For each event, I offer from one partial scholarship to several full scholarships based on financial need and motivation to attend. Please contact email me at bouldersemitacounseling@gmail.com if you are interested in hearing more and/or being added to my email list for upcoming Art Therapy groups.
